Paid UGC brief
Rise Alarm is an Android alarm app for people who turn off normal alarms, go back to sleep, and wake up full of regret. We are looking for short, funny vertical videos that feel painfully relatable.
Use one of the concepts below or remix the idea into your own voice.
One short UGC video. Vertical 9:16. 15-30 seconds. Natural lighting is fine. Phone footage is fine.
Make people think: this is way too real, and wait, I kind of need this.
We will run the video as paid ads from Rise brand accounts and may post it organically on Rise channels.
Rise is a snooze-proof Android alarm that makes you complete a small wake-up challenge before the alarm turns off.
Get up, use the camera, and find targets in the room. Good for "collecting invisible things at 7AM" jokes.
A quick number challenge when the brain is technically alive but not yet trustworthy.
A simple focus mini-game that makes the person interact before the alarm shuts up.
After the alarm is dismissed, Rise gently checks later that the person did not crawl back into bed.
Use for roommate POV, walking around, or "collecting invisible things" jokes.
Use for half-awake math, before-coffee panic, and fast-cut challenge lists.
Use for blowing into the phone, fake emergency, and absurd 6AM scenes.
Please make it feel like a meme you would actually laugh at and send to a friend.
The fee includes commercial usage rights unless we agree on different terms in writing.
90-day worldwide commercial usage license for paid and organic use on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Google/YouTube Ads, Rise website, app store materials, and email.
We may edit, crop, add captions, translate, resize, create cutdowns, and test different hooks while keeping the creator's performance respectful and materially intact.
These are prompts, not strict scripts. Adapt them to your room, routine, humor, and editing style.
In bed at 1AM, lamp on, holding your phone like a legal document.
"I, current me, being of sound mind and absolutely zero self-control, do solemnly swear that 7AM me cannot be trusted."
Show Rise setup or hold-to-commit screen.
"I will not be able to tap snooze. I will not be able to dismiss this alarm while barely conscious."
"Signed. Notarized. No take-backs."
Split screen. 1AM finger scrolling in bed. 7AM same finger blindly smashing the alarm.
"Same finger. Same brain."
"At 1AM, it's doomscrolling."
"At 7AM, it deletes my alarm before my brain even loads."
"It has never once been part of the solution."
Show Rise challenge. "So I got the alarm it can't beat."
Close-up, messy hair, half-asleep, blowing into the phone.
On-screen text: "6:04AM. This is my life now."
Partner or roommate off-camera: "What are you doing?"
You, exhausted: "Putting out the fire."
Show the challenge on screen.
"I hate that this works."
Shaky roommate POV. Someone walks around the room at 7AM with their phone, reaching toward empty air.
On-screen text: "My roommate's alarm makes her do this."
Roommate whispering: "Every morning. She just walks around collecting things I cannot see."
Show over-the-shoulder AR gameplay.
Person with phone: "I have a 9AM. Please don't perceive me."
Roommate: "She has not missed one all semester."
Half-asleep in bed, trying to defeat the alarm.
On-screen text: "Watch me lose a fight to my own phone."
Try to swipe it away. It comes back.
Try to lock the phone. It keeps going.
Put it under the pillow. Still going.
Sit up, defeated: "...Fine. I'm up. You win. You always win."
Show Rise challenge.
Talking to camera, offended but impressed.
"My alarm has trust issues. About me. Specifically."
"I did the challenge. The alarm turned off. I was 'awake.'"
"I immediately laid back down. Obviously."
"Ten minutes later, my phone goes off again."
Show Check Me Awake screen.
"It checked on me. It knew."
"I have never been so offended by an app being right."
Fast-cut list format with one funny beat per challenge.
Hook: "Five things my new alarm makes me do before it shuts up."
"Blow into my phone like it's a birthday candle."
"Walk around collecting AR coins."
"Do numbers before coffee, which feels personal."
"Prove I'm still awake ten minutes later."
"Live without a snooze button."
For anyone who has turned off an alarm in their sleep with zero memory of it.
"I used to set nine alarms."
"I would turn off all nine."
"Unconscious. No witnesses. No memory."
"This one doesn't just let you tap and disappear."
"You have to actually do something before it turns off."
Show quick Rise challenge.
"My half-asleep self is furious. My morning self is grateful."
Black-and-white dramatic oversleeping scene, then a loud fake infomercial reveal.
Voiceover: "Do YOU turn off your alarm without ever waking up?"
"Tired of your snooze button enabling your worst decisions?"
Cut to color.
"Introducing an alarm that fights back."
Show Rise challenge.
Overacted testimonial: "Now I have to complete a tiny challenge before my alarm turns off, and somehow I'm finally awake."
